Dog Training We Specialize In
Aggressive Dog Training
Max Machon BA-PSY, KPA-CTP, CPDT-KSA is the only local trainer certified to work with aggressive dogs through Michael Shikashio, a world renowned aggressive dog trainer. Max has worked with and rehabilitated hundreds of dogs through his aggressive dog training protocols. Max will travel to your home and work one on one with you and your dog to work on the aggressive behaviors your dog is displaying.
Reactive Dog Training
What makes our reactive dog training stand out from other Toledo area dog trainers? We travel to your home and work one-on-one in the environment that your dog is practicing the behavior. Often times dogs do not display the same reactive behaviors outside of their normal home or neighborhood environment. When you sign up for our training you get access to our entire training team. Each client can choose what trainer they would like to work with. We bring our own dogs to your neighborhood to work on reactivity in a controlled way. Is your dog reactive to new people? Our entire training staff can be used to get different exposure for your dog during training.
Puppy Socialization
At Ready Set...Train! we teach the Puppy Start Right Pre-School Program. This is the only puppy socialization class designed by a veterinary behaviorist. All our trainers are certified Puppy Start Right instructors and are uniquely qualified to handle any of your puppy training needs! We have been offering high quality puppy classes with our partner Toledo's PET Bull Project since 2020.
Private Training
There are real benefits to private training lessons! Private lessons give you, and your dog or puppy, one-on-one attention with a certified dog trainer. Our goal is to help transform your dog into a wonderful lifetime companion. We focus on your dog's specific training needs. By the end of your private training lessons you will be able to capture and reinforce your dog's good behavior and learn how to eliminate unwanted behaviors through management and training.
Family Paws Training
Cory Cripe KPA-CTP, CPDT-KA is the only Family Paws Educator in Northwest Ohio. Having the support of one of our educators can help prepare you and your family dog for life with baby. Our educators are trained in dog and baby/toddler dynamics, leading to a higher level of empathy and understanding, knowledge of the different stages of child development, and how that impacts the family dog.
Cory is here to help guide you through the unique situations young families experience as your baby grows and dog ages. We are here to adjust at every stage!
Sign-Up For Training Online!
You can sign-up and schedule private training sessions through our customer portal! If this is your first time training with us, you will need to create an account and input all your dogs information. After you create your account you can conveniently schedule trainings online anytime you like. Click on the training buttons to begin! No payment is taken through the customer portal. Payment will be given to the trainer after your first session.
