Max Machon: Co-Owner

Certified Fear Free Professional
Max has been working with and training dogs for over 8 years. He is dedicated to strengthening the bond between dogs and their humans. Max has his Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Toledo. He is a graduate and Certified Training Partner of Karen Pryor Academy is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge and Skills Assessed through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, is a Certified Fear Free Professional and has completed Michael Shikashlo's Aggression in Dogs Master Course.
Max has worked in many different areas of the dog world including, running dog playgroups for daycares and shelters, conditioning and grooming puppies, running behavior assessments for local rescues, and fostering. Max has a passion for education and teaching. He currently helps give presentations at the local jails on dog related subjects for Toledo's PET Bull Project and teaches their Teachers PET class where local teens get to train dogs in foster care.
When not training clients dogs, Max enjoys going on walks and hikes with his dogs Clover, Lilly, and Ash. Practicing Rally Obedience and doing husbandry training. Max loves the outdoors and enjoys backpacking and hiking throughout the U.S. He also enjoys playing the guitar.

Cory Cripe: Co-Owner

Certified Fear Free Professional
Cory has been working with and training dogs for over 4 years. His passion is helping people and dogs learn to communicate with each other and live together in understanding and compassion. Assessed through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, a Certified Training Partner at Karen Pryor Academy and a Certified Fear Free Professional, Cory in the only Family Paws Certified Educator in Northwest Ohio! He believes education and learning is the basis for us to better engage ourselves with our animals.
When Cory is not helping people and dogs communicate, he enjoys spending time with his girlfriend Mechelle and his two dogs Coda and Fidget. He has two turtles and takes great pride in decorating their tank with different themes. Enjoys backcountry backpacking, landscaping and tying knots in paracord.

Megan Reynolds CPDT-KA
Megan is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, has completed Karen Pryor Academy's Dog Training Foundations Course and is a Fear Free Shelters Graduate. Megan currently works at Hartman Veterinary Hospital as a veterinary assistant. Education is one of Megan's passions and she enjoys helping clients understand how health and training come together too affects an animal's behaviors. Throughout her life Megan has worked for the Toledo Animal Rescue where she trained the shelter dogs helping them learn good manners behaviors to make them more adoptable. She also worked as a veterinary assistant at Westside Veterinary Hospital. Megan has also worked in multiple doggie daycares running playgroups, and worked in a canine hydrotherapy clinic. Megan has a passion for and has been involved with the rescue world from a young age. Her family has adopted and fostered dogs since she was a young girl. .
When not working with shelter dogs or assisting with groups classes and private trainings, Megan enjoys hiking with her dog Ivy, reading a good science fiction book, and binge watching Gilmore Girls.
