Patio Pup Track

This is a short, 4 week, 40 minute class and the only skill we work on is Polite Greeting.  This class is for dogs who are exuberant greeters and enthusiastically jump on greeters.  We will cover several greeting games to help your dog keep their feet on the floor when saying "Hi"!  If a dog is mildly shy, we can also help them become more comfortable greeting people.  This class is NOT for severely shy, anxious or reactive dogs.

More and more stores, restaurants, and public locations are now dog friendly! Wouldn’t it be nice if you could take your dog with you without the worry of them misbehaving? With our out and about class now you can! The first two sessions focus on foundational skills at the training center, while the final three sessions take place at dog-friendly locations such as parks, greenhouses, or stores. Your dog will learn to stay calm and well-mannered in public settings.

Does your dog pull you on the leash? Do you have trouble getting focus and attention on your daily walks? Then our Stroll like a Pro shorty class is the perfect class for you! In this class we focus just on loose leash wlaking skills. Each week we will teach new exercises specifically related to improving your dogs loose leash walking and attention/focus while on walks.

CGC training emphasizes responsible owners and well mannered dogs.  The curriculum focuses on items that will be tested at the end of the 6 week session, such as leash walking through a crowd, approach of another dog and handler, recall, long distance stay and handling.  The test is administered by a Certified AKC CGC evaluator and upon passing, each team will be awarded a CGC certificate and blue ribbon.

The AKC Urban Canine Good Citizen (CGCU) is an advanced public-access test that evaluates a dog's well-mannered behavior and training in real-world urban settings like sidewalks, stores, and public transit.
