Foundations Classes

All training starts with a good foundation! Our foundation level classes is where all dogs new to training should start. This track includes our Puppy Start Right Preschool class, S.T.A.R. Program, and Building the Bond. Once you complete these classes our other training tracks will open up to you for enrollment!

Puppy Start Right PreSchool Class

Prepare your puppy for a lifetime at your side! Did you know the best time to socialize your puppy is between 7 to 16 weeks of age? Experiences during this time can influence how your dog will interact with the world for the rest of their life!

Foundation Class

S.T.A.R. Program 

This program is for dogs 4 months and older as well as any dog that is new to training with us.  S.T.A.R. stands for Socialization, Training, Activity and a Responsible owner, all of the things a dog  needs to have a good life.  You will learn valuable training tips as well as basic skills such as loose leash walking, come when called, sit, down, stay, polite greeting, and leave it.

Foundation Class

Building the Bond

This class will build the skills learned in our STAR class.  We will add some fun tricks and games to help enhance the lessons.  We will add more distractions, distance and duration to challenge you and your dog’s basic skills.  It is a great next step for the STAR graduates and a terrific way for you and your dog to Build Your Bond!  Building the Bond class is a prerequisite for CGC and Therapy Dog Classes.
